Buscando a Marina/Looking for Marina
Buscando a Marina/Looking for Marina, is an ongoing multi-media installation and performance composed of sculptures, ceramics, video and sound. This body of work is centered around the life of a Nahua woman known pejoratively as La Malinche. By revising official and popular accounts about her, I build and perform an uplifting counter narrative about her life and her legacy.
